Second Round of the Munich Thursday Criteriums

nearly perfect team work makes the nearly perfect dream work

"Delivering as a team" was the defining theme of the second race in the four-part Thursday Criterium series. Martin was our designated man for the win, with Basti acting as the backup and the tactical option for a potential breakaway.

Every other rider had a specific job to do, with their key moments, wheels to follow, and teammates to protect clearly defined. In short: it worked almost perfectly. The black-and-gold jerseys were constantly at the front, perpetually mentioned by the announcer and cheered on by the crowd. Only our rivals didn't find it quite so cool!

The results speak for themselves, even if our own high standards leave a little room for improvement. 1st place for Martin and 3rd for Basti is a near-perfect result from a near-perfect and united team performance.

We go again on Thursday, June 27th!
