Rain Can’t Dampen Spirits at CSBikes Season Kick-Off
Moosach, Germany – April 12, 2026
Grey skies and a mist of rain did little to slow the momentum of the cycling community as riders gathered for the CSBikes Season Kick-Off 2026 on Sunday. Despite the soggy conditions, the annual event proved a resounding success, bringing together enthusiasts, athletes, and newcomers to celebrate the start of a new road cycling season.
Hosted by CSBikes, the kick-off marked one of the flagship gatherings of its collective community, designed to blend performance cycling with social connection. The day began early with coffee and informal meetups before transitioning into a packed group ride and community expo.
Rain showers persisted throughout the morning, forcing some adjustments to the group ride. However, many riders embraced the conditions, heading out on wet roads in a smaller group. “It’s not the weather you hope for, but it’s the weather you ride in,” one participant remarked, echoing the resilient spirit that defined the day.
Inside the Moosach studio, the atmosphere remained lively. Guests explored the latest bike models and followed live cycling coverage on big screens. The event also served as a meeting point for the broader CSBikes network, the CSBikes Road Team, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on community-building alongside engineering and performance excellence.
Food and social activities, including the anticipated BBQ and informal “sizzle and sip” sessions, kept energy levels high as attendees mingled throughout the afternoon. While muddy bikes and damp jerseys were common sights, so too were smiles and animated conversations.
The Season Kick-Off is part of a wider calendar of events organized by the CSBikes Collective, ranging from high-altitude alpine rides to technical workshops and social gatherings. Sunday’s turnout - undeterred by the weather - underscored the strength of that community.
As the rain eased later in the day, many participants lingered, already looking ahead to upcoming rides and events. If the kick-off is any indication, the 2026 cycling season is set to begin not with perfect conditions, but with strong camaraderie and unwavering enthusiasm.
