Last Monday, May 20, 2024, the 19th Franz-Xaver-Böhm Memorial Race took place around the Ludwig-Thoma-Wiese in Dachau.
The race was hosted by R+F forice 89 Dachau e.V. and supported by the organizer R+F forice-89.de.
This year’s event delivered special moments and massive success for the CSBikes Road Team. Martin Gluth, one of our most talented riders, made his final appearance in the Amateur category—and he crowned the occasion with a stunning victory. This was his last eligible start as an amateur before his promotion to the Elite category. His win marks a perfect conclusion to his amateur career and a promising transition into the higher ranks.
A Day of Highlights
As always, the Dachau Criterium was incredibly tough, featuring a stacked field and extreme speeds. Martin Gluth once again proved his class, taking a dominant win in the Amateur race. With this victory, he signs off from the amateur ranks at the top of his game. From now on, he will be hunting for results in the Elite category alongside teammates Sebastian Wagner, Carl Schuto, and Andreas Bartmann.
But Martin wasn’t the only one to shine. Sebastian Wagner demonstrated impressive endurance and power in the final four laps, securing a remarkable 5th place in the Elite race after holding his own in a four-man breakaway. Alexander Hofmann and Andreas Gneissl rounded out the strong team performance, finishing in 7th and 8th place respectively.
A Look Ahead
The CSBikes Road Team delivered an impressive performance in Dachau, proving they are ready to hold their own and compete for victory in the Elite category. The results from this race provide plenty of reason to be optimistic about what’s to come. With the next race in Karbach just around the corner this Sunday, the team is highly motivated to build on the momentum from Dachau.
We are incredibly proud of our riders and look forward to the challenges and successes ahead in the Elite class. Stay tuned and keep supporting the CSBikes Road Team as they continue their climb to the top!
