Moosach, June 29, 2024. The second CSBikes Group Ride is in the books! Last Saturday, CSBikes hosted a Social Ride followed by an exclusive product showcase and a meet-and-greet with the CSBikes Road Team.

30 Cyclists Explore the Bavarian Alpine Foreland Roughly 30 enthusiastic riders answered the call, lining up ready to roll at 10:00 AM sharp. Our six team riders led the large group through the stunning Bavarian Oberland. Starting from the TSV Moosach sports grounds—a key supporter of the racing team—the route headed south, skimming past the Irschenberg and winding back to Moosach via some of the most scenic roads the region has to offer, finishing right at the CSBikes Shop.

The entire group arrived back together—no crashes, no mechanicals, and no one left behind. Instead, the ride was filled with fun, great shop talk, and new friendships, along with firsthand insights into the CSBikes Road Team’s racing season so far.

Martin and Anderl expertly set the pace at the front, while Chris, Flo, Andreas, and Carl looked after the rest of the pack, offering tips on group riding etiquette and providing a little "pro-help" whenever the pace or the gradients picked up.

Refreshments and Tech Talk at the Shop Following a Successful Ride

After a ride in 35-degree heat and non-stop sunshine, the priorities back at the shop were clear: cold drinks and snacks. The post-ride atmosphere provided the perfect opportunity for everyone to swap stories and dive into deep "expert-level" technical discussions.

Nick and Dave presented our latest models: the G14AR gravel bike and the I14AR e-bike. Flo then took the stage to highlight the team’s roster and our 2024 season successes so far. With 20 top-ten finishes (4th–10th), 12 podiums, and 6 wins from 97 total starts across our 8 riders, the result is clear: we are currently the most successful Amateur/Elite racing community in Germany.

A Surprise for One of Our Title Sponsors

A special highlight for everyone involved was the participation of Wolfgang Spiegl. As one of our two title sponsors, Wolfgang has placed immense trust in CSBikes and the Road Team—a partnership he clearly takes great pride in. We even had a little surprise in store for him: we officially handed over his new D14 road bike in a stunning custom paint job, ordered just three days prior. Once he had it, we could hardly get him out of the saddle!
